Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Shopikat at shopikat.com and related stores, portals and apps (the "Platform"). By using the Platform you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Shopikat lets sellers create online stores, work with suppliers and delivery agents, accept payments, and lets customers order and track deliveries. Specific roles have additional terms: Seller Agreement, Delivery Agent Agreement, Supplier Agreement.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and be legally able to enter a contract. You are responsible for activity on your account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to the Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the law.
4. Marketplace role
Shopikat provides the technology that connects sellers, customers, suppliers and delivery agents. Sellers are responsible for their products, pricing, descriptions, taxes and legal compliance. Shopikat is not the seller of record unless stated.
5. Payments & fees
Subscription plans and any platform fees are described on the Platform and in the Subscription & Billing Terms. Payment processing is provided by third-party partners.
6. Intellectual property
Shopikat and its logos are our property. You retain rights to content you upload but grant us a licence to host and display it to operate the Platform.
7. Disclaimers & liability
The Platform is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shopikat is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach, risk, or legal reasons.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Cameroon, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country.
